In 2010, the Board of Directors of JSC FPC approved a Commission for the Examination of Suggestions and Requests for Material Aid with the goal of keeping a unified policy in the support of the activities of social institutions, public assistance and support of religious and other organisations as well as social support of citizens.
Funds for charitable activities are taken from the Company’s net profits. The sum of such funds is determined annually by the totals of the reported period by the General Shareholders Meeting of JSC FPC.
Monetary funds for charity are independently distributed and utilised by the Commission within the boundaries of pre-determined limits. Sessions of the Commission are held at least once per quarter.
The Commission puts together an annual report on its activities, including a complete list of sponsors and charitable actions carried out by JSC FPC in the previous year within the approved budget and amount of monetary funds used for the implementation of these actions; the report is given to the JSC FPC Board of Directors.
In 2013, the overall sum of monetary funds directed towards charitable actions amounted to RUB 2.86 million.

Moreover, the Company donated 18 train cars to various organisations, including 13 train cars for the needs of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Additionally, the management and employees of the Company actively took part in the collection of medicine and equipment for the victims of flooding in Far East Russia; more than RUB 2 million were collected and donated.
For the second year in a row, the employees of the Company were the trustees of the Safonovskaya General Boarding School for orphans and children without parental care, one of the most important organisations for orphans in Central Russia In 2012, money collected personally from the employees of JSC FPC’s central staff was used to purchase warm clothing and sports equipment. In 2013, employees of JSC FPC’s central staff donated computers, a projector with a screen, a television, a DVD player, textbooks and sports equipment to the school. As the New Year’s holiday approached, the schoolchildren were given candy gifts and a circus performance with clowns and hooved- and feathered performers was organised.
